Lautaro Martinez scored for Inter in their 2-1 win vs. Verona.

Martinez managed his sixth goal of the season to keep Inter in second spot in the league. The Argentine scored from close range, a great shot to beat the goalkeeper to give Inter the 1-0 lead. Lautaro spoke to Inter TV after the match. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m here to win something with this Club. We work every day to show that we can stay at the front, but there are tough matches and we always need to give more. Today, we did well and got the win. My relationship with Lukaku? He’s a good guy, since his first day here we’ve always spoke and got on.

“For a striker, scoring goals is key and we live to score. To break the deadlock meant that this goal was even more important, but I’m happy when Inter win and I want to help the team. I dedicate the goal to my family, who have joined me for the holidays. I wish all the fans and all of the staff all the best during the holiday season.”

  1. Bruh be quiet lautaro May not scoring for inter but Argentina he is performing very well this guy is untouchable they only striker I don’t want for agentina is aguero him freaking to old and nerver did any shit for National team we don’t want players that perform for clubs only we need players that want to sacrifice for National teams

  2. Lautaro is not improving he is just a hard worker and that is enough for Scaloni to select him that is disgusting. Argentina needs quality players in pitch right now Aguero,Dybla and Alaric should be far ahead of Lautaro.
Lamela,Lo celso,Paredes,Emi Martinez,Messi and Aguero are most creative player they should always be in playing 11.

    • Good news for Argentina coach

Pochettino did spent in PSG during his playing time. It’s a tough challenge to take over as a coach but well deserved to prove his coaching and managerial skill. Wish him all the best and trust can handle super stars and optimized Icardi as well. PSG will play a more high-pressing and attacking style of football.

      • He’ll use Neymar as no10or more free role push ,mbappe to left wing and Di Maria on right, icardi lone striker I guess hopefully he’ll bring more Argentine players for their defence and mid

  3. I miss the days when Argentine strikers used to score 20+ league goals per season. Even Rodrigo Palacio scored 19 league goals for Inter when they were struggling.

      • I do not blame Lautaro entirely for his current woes. Inter plays dreadful football with no creative players. Presence of Lukaku also hampers him, the team is built around Lukaku. But Lautaro too did not improve much in terms of personal play. His finishing needs to be improved. He started the season brilliantly, but faded away.
