Sebastian Driussi has left Zenit with rumors linking him with a move to the MLS in North America.
Zenit have confirmed that the Argentine has left the club. Still only 25 years old, the former River Plate man joined Zenit back in 2017 where he spent four years at the club.
The forward represented the Russian team over 100 times, winning three Russian Premier League titles, a Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups.
Per Cesar Luis Merlo, unnamed MLS club has made an offer for Driussi. Since Merlo’s tweet, unofficial reports have began circulating that Austin FC are the club interested in signing him.
We can confirm that Sebastian Driussi has now left the club.
