Emiliano Buendía scored for Aston Villa in their 1-0 win vs. Everton.
Buendía scored the only goal of the match, a floating header. It was a corner kick for Aston Villa and it was the Argentine who got to it first as his floating header got the better of Pickford and scored.
The 25 year old has been selected for the Argentina national team for the January and February World Cup qualifying matches.

I remember people saying Buendia is trash and not NT material, while some say give it some time and check out his stats, statists, etc. Obviously, futbol is a body of work and with him I see a player growing in confidence and maturity.
If he can stay injury-free and consistent, we have a future World-Class player.
World-Class players currently in NT:
Messi, DiMaria, RDP, Papu
Not yet World-Class:
Cuti, Ocampos, Dabu, Licha, Laturo
Players w/ World-Class skill but not: Paredes, Angel Correa, Lanzini, Lamela, Buendia, Alario, Dominguez
Undetermined/Still more to show:
Julian Alvarez, Lo Celso, Nico Gonzalez, Palacios
Out of form: Icardi, Rodrigo Pereyra
World-Class condition: Championships, titles, individual trophies, man of matches, constant body of work, impact on club(s)
World-Class skill condition: impact on club(s), individual accomplishments, fan favorites, players that could have been WC if not affected by injury.
Undetermined: players that still need to show more. May have been part of championship teams, but did not necessarily impact those teams, or improved them. Need to see more body of work. Hopeful. Players with great expectations.

Emi Buendia is pure talent he is getting better and better. He should be Argentina left winger he was awesome today. His headers are pure class. It looks like C. Romero and Buendia are too good in scoring headers.
For Qualifiers this should be attacking trio
Buendia. Lautaro. Dybla
Midfield trio should be
Lo celso. Paredes. De Paul.
