Nicolás Tagliafico will remain at Ajax as they refused a loan deal.
Tagliafico had been linked with a move away from Ajax but he will remain at the club. According to César Luis Merlo, FC Barcelona were negotiating to sign him but Ajax did not want a loan deal.
The 29 year old has been with Ajax since 2018 but has since become a back-up.

The fact that the WC is not in the summer gives him a chance to find another club. I hope he moves because we don’t have any real back-ups for Acuna.
To me Nico is pretty decent…. if not great and I would consider him as a decent backup to Acuna
Good thing he does not move to Barca. His game does NOT fit Barca at all. Better wait for the summer move where he can be a starter for sure.

If his situation doesn’t improve by the summer he should push to leave, he played well against Chile and will need minutes before the WC
