Leandro Paredes scored for PSG in their 3-0 win vs. Bordeaux.

Paredes started the match for PSG and scored. It was 2-0 for the league leaders when Paredes would receive the ball just inside the penalty area. He would dribble around a player and he would score with his left footed shot.

Lionel Messi also started the match for PSG while Mauro Icardi remained on the bench.

  1. I’m kind of liking with P$G fans as they are jeering Messi. I don’t think age has anything to do with his performance and the jolt from CL exit will bring Messi back to beast mode. I hope they can eat their own shit.
Though I do have a problem with Messi as he is again showing submissive behavior (might be his natural behavior). I like the current Messi when he don’s NT shirt and is not afraid to call out the Conembol.

Which one had good game compared the Minutes they both played
I watch whole game the soon emi Buendia come Aston villa looked more threat and he did very well the 11 Minutes he played I still insist emi Buendia is very good player and will retain his place . BTW those Goals emi martinez conceded were his reach, he could save it.

  4. Don’t bash me after this comment.. but people saying messi performance today was good and I agree.. but who cares if it was good against bordoex? Why wasn’t it good against real Madrid in an important big game…. I’m just waiting for his performance once more in an Argentine shirt to see if he really is declining or is it just psg not doing any justice to our king..

    • Agree, Gonzalo. Let’s see how he plays in the last 2 WC qualifiers.
It is however a bit of a catch 22 situation.

If he works hard, plays well and maybe scores 1 or more goals, the PSG fans will say that he is fit but doesn’t work hard for his club and is not worth his salary.

      or

If he walks on the pitch, does not defend and does not score, the PSG fans (and the media) will say that that fire that was once was Messi has turned into a weak flame.

    • I wouldn’t say he was bad against Madrid, he was quite impressive when PSG had to relieve some pressure but the whole midfield collapsed after Paredes was substituted.

I hope he will be at his usual best when he plays for the national team cause there is no doubt he will be motivated. And hopefully he can gain his confidence back

  5. Watch West Ham vs Villa 2-1. Emi Martinez played pretty well. He had a point blank save from close range. There was nothing he could do in both goals.

Buendia played the last 12 mins as a sub and had an assist and almost a goal. Overall a mixed performance for him because other than that, his passing was poor.

Buendia has been a sub the last 4 games. I think the only way he can regain it is by replacing Ings who has been a disappontment. But then Gerrard likes to play with a true 9 like Ings. So it is complicated for Buendia.

  6. It was a good game and a beautiful goal, I have always said that Paredes should shoot much more, he has this quality but not often used. I like very much his partnership with Danilo.
