    • > Anybody knows why everyone is saying England is one of the favorites?

By “everyone” do you mean like 5 people posting comments on some stupid website?

No, they are not favorites, i have yet to see anyone claim they are.

    • There were 2nd favorites at some point (according to the bookies), which was hella funny, but now it’s Brazil, France and Argentina, those 3 are the ones the pundits are going for.
To be honest though, the favorites tag has never been a positive, it just puts un necessary pressure on a team, so I would’ve been totally ok if everyone slept on Argentina but with our boys winning copa, finishing the WCQ unbeaten and going on a 35 game unbeaten streak it’s really hard for them to go under the radar.

    • Three possible reasons
      1. PL is strongest league. Almost all England players are in PL
      2. They reached the final of Euro 2020
      3. They reached semi final of last WC

  1. Julian is a very good presser. Whoever we play along side Lautaro and Messi where it be Nico, Di Maria, or Julian they should press non-stop for 55 minutes and let their replacement finish the match.

    • Dimaria doesn’t press much. Nico is far better in it. J. Correa and angel Correa also press well. Where as papu doesn’t press much. Locelso and depaul great presser paredes not so much. If our 10 players including messi press then we will be a tough tough team to beat

      • Di Maria press much more overall than Nico, when statsbomb stats were avalaible on fbref it was clear. In club football at least. Nico was in worst 25 percentile in pressing. Di Maria much better. And this was in last 365 days matches. Nico as a good presser only a myth.

  2. 2 assist 1 goal..5 key pass, lol… he learn from Enzo how to provide key passes.
    Great game alvarez the spider.
And montiel as always played his natural game.great player..great on error leading to goal

  3. For all those who have been belittling Enzo playing in Benfica, this is what I said many times. In 2020s, last couple of years the Portuguese league is showing the way of modern football. Just like Italy is showing history of football. Both Porto and Benfica topped their group. Now they won’t win UCL, that takes lot more.

But Enzo getting developed so quickly in Benfica is a real surprise and amazing for NT. In my mind he must go to the WC. Now with GLC’s injury, the place may be open, though he is not a direct replacement. I would take Enzo and Almada before Palacios or MacAllister, if GLC can’t make it.

  4. Wow Benfica shine without Enzo in a stadium where Juventus and PSG struggled so much. Messi head was not clear today, he played bad, didnt seem interested at all.

  5. To all those people that wanted Álvarez out and simeone in cause of form last wee u r stupid. I want the best players on my sure simeone was the hot hand but I don’t care. Alvarez is the better player playing on a better team behind the best striker in the world simple. Simeone would never make that man city team and juli did soooo

    • Calling people stupid is such a convincing argument, wow. We are all in awe now, aren’t we?

In any case, I think most people wanted Simeone instead of Joaquin Correa not Alvarez.

Good on ya ! As completly spot on about the topic ! LOL ! Just waiting for another spammer or scummer to arrive as this website has such weird way of effecting to draw attention from with great idealogies and maybe sometimes with agenda’s too, lol ! Such amazing, but does’nt really surprises as also there are not really any wonder’s left…lol !

      • > In any case, I think most people wanted Simeone instead of Joaquin Correa not Alvarez.

I’m assuming there were multiple discussions where the point of contention was the 9 role with Toro, Dybala, and Alvarez leading. With Dybala recovering and Alvarez suffering a bit in form, many were calling for Simeone as a backup to Toro.

      • No i read multiple idiots in this forum calling for Alvarez out after simeone scored two in the champs league, and yes I’m calling them idiots cause that’s what they deserve I don’t care wat some entitled prick expect me to say since he has been in this site for a long time. I’ve here since the start I’m only not know since I don’t comment retarded contraversial shit

  6. Juli! monster pass from De Bruyne, I’ve seen many times where Alvarez would have just squared it but I’m glad he chose to score it himself this time. Great time for him to begin getting starts

    • About timing as indeed very well timed and also overall performance, though Sevilla’s morale maybe, not so high, but for right now i rather gain on Alvarez morale boosting than Sevilla’s Squad, though Papu, Acuna deeply in my thoughts as i hope soon as they fly out of Sevilla the mood will change for Them as i hope the exact same for anyelse who will be abroad 26 men final list for La Seleccion !

  7. Watch. When he kicks his first ball in Brighton he will automatically and mysteriously become $40 M rated on the market, just like Enzo going to Benfica
