Ajax are interested in signing World Cup winner Gerónimo Rull of Villarreal, with contacts already started.

Gerónimo Rulli was part of the Argentina national team which won the World Cup and could now be heading to a new club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Ajax are interested in signing the Argentine as he is at the top of their list.

Contacts have already started and Ajax are looking to sign a new goalkeeper.

  1. Maybe because Villarreal not always make it to the CL. Ajax will always make the CL every year. Rulli is about the same age as Emi. So he might be there in 2026.

    • Who cares… ajax is in a really bad league. He could be one of the players that makes Villarreal good. Plus they were a semifinal team last season no?
