  1. I am sorry but today was the first time I got a chance (or attempted) to watch a PSG game from start to finish and I must say, this was the worst display of football i’ve ever witnessed. These guys either hate Messi or just not compatible to his style of play. I counted numerous times they choose to hold on to the ball too long rather than passing and other times, passing too quickly to someone who’s barely in position.

I don’t think the coach has no idea what he’s doing quite frankly. All the plays were running through Hakimi, a right back? Leaving Messi isolated. #17 (whatever his name is), he’s not even worth looking up. He had a great opportunity to score but chose to dribble in a defender to get his sot blocked. Like he purposely tried not to score.

I just assume with all the money PSG was spending, I thought this team would be decent but aside from Messi and Hakimi (who is a bit selfish for a RWB), the rest of the team is trash. Even the goal Messi scored, which was incredible by the way, the ball found him by mistake. Hakimi was too busy dribbling his way across the penalty box and the ball escaped and landed to Mess’s left foot.

I do hope Messi does not resign with this team. They are allergic to playing smart unselfish football. Now I see why Mbappe has such an influence on this team.

I am done with this rant. I am sure anyone else who watched the game will share the same sentiment.

  2. PSG players are so incompatible with Messi’s style of play. Most of their midfield and wingers are going through form crisis and in order to cement their starting spot they need to score goals and which is why they are completely isolating Messi to score goals themselves. Etike who cost 40million doesn’t even know he is in offside position and completely wasted Messi’s sleek pass for the other on-side player in perfect position to take the shot. Even Hakimi goal was due to Messi’s presense, opposition was expecting him to pass to Leo but instead took a direct shot. Galtier who finally have brought some balance in ego between Mbappe Messi and Neymar (world cup played a huge factor, as the other two have realised they can’t overshine Messi) has failed to mould his team’s game to Messi’s strength. Messi made a team with handful of players playing for big clubs the champions of the world but PSG has failed to capitalize on Messi’s futballing IQ and his skills. Everyone wants to get on the score sheet, no body is able to find Messi and when Messi passes the ball they are unable to find him and would go for goals themselves. Argentina and Barcelona’s success was because both teams knew that they have once in a generation player in their team and others need to adapt to his style of play and not vice versa. Only PSG can make Messi look so mediocre!! SMH

    • PSG squad is looking really thin. They wasted all their cash on Mbobo. Messi has realised that this team is not going to win CL and not worth the effort. I don’t think he’s going to extend his contract.

  3. what does it take to win the WC?
    The best veteran player—Messi
    The best young players—-Enzo, Julian
The best or most in form GK—Dibu
    The best manager—Scaloni

By the way, any word on Scaloni contract?

  4. Enzo no surprise playing good. He and Badiashile are the MOM to me. I am not surprised how quickly he adapts considering he does not speak the language, just 1 training session and dunno any of his teammates. He is very fast when it comes to adapting.

He had a couple great key passes to Ziyech and Havertz but the attackers all played poorly. He almost scored a goal too from outside the box. Chelsea need a partner for him in midfield. Let’s see when Kante back how it will be. If not Kante then Mount has to be in midfield with him in 4-2-3-1 instead of putting Mount as the 10. Gallagher is not good enough. Ziyech so bad. Sterling needs to start instead of him. Madueke is so so, but is talented. Mudryk has yet to show anything so far. Havertz is never that good of a striker.

Rumour have said it that Chelsea identifies Declan Rice as their main target this summer although I won’t be surprised if they go €130 million more to buy Bellingham. Also Osimhen or Vlahovic are their targets for the striker. Who knows Lautaro!?

I am just super proud of my man Enzo. I have been reporting him on my twitter like an obsessed fan lol. I know he won’t disappoint me because he, along with Cuti and Emi made me falling in love from the first sight already. From day 1 wearing the Albiceleste shirt.

Fully agreed on what u wrote, as they do need play another middfielder to Partner ENZO as yesterday he had to do everything by his own and with Badiashile obviously, but even as ENZO played yesterday as very deep lying DM as sometimes looked like he was partnering Badiashile in their defence, lol ! As ENZO worked really hard defensevly, but was Still to able to dictate, control and create too as u said Chelsea up front just wasted his marvelous Direct and quick passes…etc.

Hopefully Kante will be back soon as if not as u said Potter has to move Mount to Partner Enzo as also Mount was quite off fairly yesterday too…

And if they can get Declan Rice, well then thinks will look all ovat like fully sorted for their middfield, though, maybe one more middfielder like Mac Allister for example will make their middfield the ultimate best in the world as i think if they do get Rice, well maybe Caicedo going to end in other EPL team, well who knows how far is current and the new owner of Chelsea willing to go as lethal striker they really need to replace this Havertz story as playing a striker for them as obviously this comes from Tuchel the X coach etc..,so Yes Lautaro from Inter will do much better than Havertz as that is guaranteed, though i know they want Osimhen as all the others too, so let see who will they get in the summer and the only thing i’m bit worried for ENZO and his new team as Chelsea is, that will Potter be really up the task as i know it is Still way too early to judge, but i truly hope that he will get it together for sake of ENZO and his new club and if not, well then, maybe they should replace him at least before the next pre-season etc…

  5. Since 1978 WC the medal table:

    Argentina 3 gold 2 silver
    Germany 2 gold 3 silver 2 bronze
    France 2 gold 2 silver 1 bronze
    Brazil 2 gold 1 silver 1 bronze
    Italy 2 gold 1 silver 1 bronze
    Spain 1 gold
    Netherlands 2 silver 1 bronze
    Croatia 1 silver 2 bronze
    Belgium 1 bronze
    Poland 1 bronze
    Sweden 1 bronze
    Turkey 1 bronze

  6. Enzo played alright. Chelsea’s attack is poor, most of them are out of form. Graham seems not sharp enough, Chelsea is still a quality team though.

  7. No matter where you put Enzo he performs, whether it’s at the base of the midfield or higher up. He doesn’t need adaptation to any league or team or level, as he’s shown in all of his clubs and the NT. No matter what position he’s in he makes the team play and the game flow

    • @olive fully agreed about ENZO’s amazing skill of adapment as u wrote very well in your post ” No matter where you put Enzo he performs, whether it’s at the base of the midfield or higher up. He doesn’t need adaptation to any league or team or level, as he’s shown in all of his clubs and the NT. No matter what position he’s in he makes the team play and the game flow”

Now for Chelsea he is a pure DM, which won’t be problem for him to play, though i hope in the summer transfer window Chelsea will look for another middfielder who could also play as DM or sometimes switch position with ENZO so, that ENZO could have more freedom to play as CM or even as AMC like Mount or Gallagher where kind of playing now against Fulham as i think Chelsea could get even more benefit from ENZO as using him in more advance role etc…, though he played very good first ever game for him at EPL and in front of his home fans too at Stamford Bridge, Still if Chelsea will get in the summer Declan Rice forexample as, that would most propably give the opportunity for Chelsea to move ENZO a bit more higher up, but at the moment i’m not sure if Chelsea does even have another player who can play as DM as the only one i can think of is, maybe Kovasic, but i don’t know his situation at the moment as if he is injured or not…? And he ain’t certainly at ENZO’s level and therefore as long as Potter will play with this system he used against Fulham, well i quess the only player who can play as DM for them is ENZO as even playing as DM he could Still create a quite much against Fulham as if he did not had to think so much of his deffensive duty against Fulham and instead focus even more for his playmaking skills i think Chelsea may had maybe won this one, though credits to Fulham too for their performance against Chelsea as in the final Third Chelsea was lacking that very needed lethal scoring and finishing up their chanches, which u obviously need as any team to be able to score as defensevly they were ok, but also in that department they must continue their performance from today and build to be even more solid, but Mudryk, Havertz and Mount with Reece too were all bit off today, so hopefully for ENZO’s sake they will improve all for the next game etc…as i think Chelsea should buy in the summer at least one more quality middfielder and real quality striker…., but over all delighted for ENZO to start allraedy in this game and the way he can adapt is completly beyond anything i seen from River to Benfica at last summer and now from Benfica to Chelsea and to a completly different league as EPL with due all my respect towards Argentine Primera and Liga Portugal as this is something very rare indeed like @Enganche allraedy well said in his post too !

      • Oh my i completly forgot about Kante, so maybe, when he will be able to play again a, then we might see ENZO used in more advanced middfielding role and dictating the game even more…VAMOS ENZO!

  8. Enzo hit the ground running it seems, passing, dribbling, intercepting, could have had a pre-assist if not for Haavertz wasting his chance…

It’s incredible how quickly he adapts at new teams, I can’t think of any other player like that…

  9. Good surprise today. i cant believe Enzo already playing for the the blues. It all happened so fast, i doubt Enzo even knows all of his teammates names. Chelsea are clearly not wasting any time.
