Bernardo Romeo has stated that Alejandro Garnacho has decided to play for Argentina.
The Argentina national team youth team coordinator has revealed that the Spanish national team contacted Garnacho but his decision is to play for the current World Cup champions. Romeo spoke in an interview with DSports about Garnacho and here is what he had to say:
“The Spanish national team coordinator called Garnacho. He was clear and he told me that he answered him out of respect.
“He is very convinced about playing with the Argentina national team. You enter his house and he has all the photos with Messi.”
Alejandro Garnacho is born in Spain but has an Argentine mother and he has represented both national teams at youth level. He has been called up to the Argentina national team for the March matches but he will miss both games due to an injury.
