Papu Gómez scored his first league goal of the season for Sevilla in their 3-0 win vs. Valladolid.
Gómez was back in the starting eleven for Sevilla and got his first league goal of the season. With Sevilla leading 1-0, it was a pass in to the Argentine who was one on one with the goalkeeper as he dribbled around him and scored.
The goal was initially ruled out for offside but Papu was onside and the goal stood. Gonzalo Montiel and Erik Lamela also started the match for Sevilla as Marcos Acuña was brought on as a substitute.
