Lautaro Martínez spoke about rejecting a bid to go play in Saudi Arabia.

Martínez and Inter are presently in Japan and played against Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia. The Argentine had reportedly received offers to go play in Saudi Arabia but has rejected them. Speaking in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, here is what he had to say:

“Offers from Saudi Arabia? It’s true, the huge proposals have arrived. But I’m happy at Inter and happy in Milan. I have no reason to change and my family thinks like me.”

“I’m the captain here, Inter is my second home. I feel loved here since day one and I’m proud to be here.

“Why do so many young people go to Saudi Arabia? It’s a lot of money, but in the end it depends on the person. I chose this (to reject the offer) because I want to continue playing at a high level.

“I’m already thinking about preparing well for the next Copa América and the World Cup with the National Team.”
