Argentina national team players haves tarted to arrive for the World Cup qualifiers as training will start on Monday.
Several players of the Argentina national team began arriving on Sunday with the majority on Monday as the team will begin training for their World Cup qualifying match against Ecuador on Thursday. Enzo Fernandez was the first to arrive with Julian Alvarez following him.
On Monday, Rodrigo De Paul, Ángel Correa, Alexis Mac Allister, Cuti Romero, Lisandro Martínez, Gonzalo Montiel, Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Buonanotte also arrived.
The Argentina national team will train at 4:30 pm local time on Monday. According to Gustavo Yarroch, everyone will be training except for Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martínez, Dibu Martínez, Nicolás González, Lucas Beltrán and Nicolás Tagliafico as they will be arriving later tonight or tomorrow.
Lionel Scaloni’s team will play their first World Cup qualifying match on Thursday against Ecuador and will play a second match on September 12 against Bolivia.

If messi wins another copa … and my God another world cup… his legacy will be unmatched.. up to now cr7 fans still saying he is the goat.. what messi has to do to shut that fan base up?
Messi doesn’t have to do shit to be considered GOAT. He is the greatest when you consider his longevity. Let CR7 first qualify for world cup final then we can talk about if he should be GOAT or not.
Messi has won WC golden ball twice. He’s won golden ball at Copa America multiple times aswell. CR has never been best player in any major tournament after 2 decades being pro footballer. Messi also has been in two WC finals , 4 Copa America finals, an Olympics final, u20 WC final. CR only reached major tournament final twice , Euro 2004 and 2016.
Another journey begins. Another three years of expectations. This time for repeating a rare history which were earlier achieved only by Italy and Brazil. Let’s see if Scaloni is still hungry and the players are hungrier. Difficult. The new joinees would be key. It’s their turn to be the new heroes.
Copa 2024 will be the key. If we can win it, then surely Messi will stay and play WC 2026.
I want to see Messi play in WC 2026 as reigning champion and the GOAT’s last dance. He will receive tremendous support from the fans and organizers in USA, which can help us go far in the tournament.
He should retire after playing Copa irrespective of him winning Copa or not. He can extend maximum upto 2025 but should not play in 2026 wc. I don’t want to see his legacy gets tarnished like that. 3-4 years is a lots of time what he did in 2022 can’t do it in 2026 wc its too much to ask for specially in the heat of USA

Yes. Copa 2024 would be really important. If Messi plays in 2026, Scaloni would have to be really creative to utilise his time. It would be a tough choice and strategy for our team management. But personally I would love to see him do a miracle and create a difficult-to-match-history.
