  1. Inter Miami is out of the playoffs, they had their chances to score in the 1st half before Messi came in the 2nd half. Let the man enjoy his long time off, he deserves it.

    • I love Messi like everyone else but there is very little left in the tank. He is still battling injuries and has fitness issues. I don’t know how he could possibly start in the upcoming games with all his fitness issues currently. And at least now we can know for sure there is zero chance he will be in the next World Cup and we should start planning that as well as the possibility that he will not be a major contributor to Copa America as well.

      • I for one have always said that let Messi win the WC and then he can go do whatever he wants, school teacher, taxi driver, business owner….whatever is fine with me. He paid his debt in full with interest, how he played in the WC and winning it was reality BETTER than fantasy.
Playing next summer should be his final performance before the curtain is down permanently, NOTHING lasts forever and ARG is in a better place now than 2018 when the future looked dark and hopeless.
We shouldn’t be sad to see him retire, he entertained us for many years and gave us exactly what we wanted, winning the last PROPER WC before it becomes the circus that it’s becoming before our eyes.
ARGENTINA has plenty of talent everywhere and it’s time to change tactics where everybody on offense shares the load and that would only make the team stronger.
