Voting points revealed for Yashin trophy, best goalkeeper in the world


The voting points have been revealed for the Yashin trophy which was won by Emiliano Martínez on Monday.

Emiliano Martínez won the Yashin award for the best goalkeeper in the world with 290 points. In second place was Ederson of Brazil with 197 points and Yassine Bounou of Morocco with 154 points. Here were the points for the award:

Thibaut Courtois: 81 points
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen: 47 points
Andre Onana: 44 points
Dominik Livakivic: 9 points
Aaron 󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Ramsdale: 5 points
Mike Maignan: 1 point
Brice Samba: 0 points

Martínez won the 2022 World Cup with the Argentina national team and was also named the best goalkeeper in Qatar.

  1. He deserves to be in Tier 1 teams. But defending the goal in a team with a defence which is not the best would keep him challenged and seasoned. In several matches Ederson simply enjoys his time under the post with all the hard work being done by City defence.
