Ballon d’Or voting points revealed, Lionel Messi with a big margin win

The Ballon d’Or voting points have been revealed and Lionel Messi won with a big margin.

Lionel Messi won his eighth Ballon d’Or on Monday and by some distance. Messi ended with 462 points and second place Erling Haaland finished with 357 points.

The Argentine ran away with it as Haaland finished closer to third place Kylian Mbappe than he did to Messi. In third place was Kylian Mbappe with 270 points.

Julian Alvarez, who finished in seventh place, ended with 28 points in the rankings. Here are the points of the top 10 players:

Lionel Messi: 462 points
Erling Haaland: 357 points
Kylian Mbappe: 270 points
Kevin De Bruyne: 100 points
Rodri: 57 points
Vinicius: 49 points
Julián Álvarez: 28 points
Victor Osimhen: 24 points
Bernardo Silva: 20 points
Luka Modric: 19 points

  1. Alvarez can’t score goals now… he needs to leave Man City asap. Frauden and Grubbish never liked him so they don’t pass the through ball to Julian and sometimes steal goals in front of Julian.

    • It will get even worse now as Grealish is back from injury and he is quite selfish and doesn’t like to pass to Alvarez as he will fighting against Julian for minutes on the field and once KDB is back Pep as usual will sacrifice Alvarez over others. Having said that Alvarez had done amazingly well this season but hasn’t scored or assisted in the last few matches. He is our best player in Europe right now and if he can get back to his form then he can out perform any attacking player in that City team.
