Argentina scored five goals in their 5-0 win vs. Chile in the pre-Olympics.

Javier Mascherano’s Argentina pre-Olympic team qualified for the second round with a match to spare, in their 5-0 win. A strong 5-0 performance and Argentina are now in the final four teams.

Thiago Almada scored two goals, Santiago Castro scored one, Aarón Quirós one and Luciano Gondou scored one in the win. Almada and Gondou are now on three goals each.

The team are in the final four with Brazil, Paraguay and the runner up of group A. They will play against each other and the top two teams will qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

  1. Good display by team . Almada, Barco, Castro, Gundao, Nandoni,Echeveri both CBs all played well. Hopefully we continue to improve in last stage. For the first time i wouldnt be surprised if we qualify for Olympics. Credit to Masche for last 2 wins.
