Mateo Apolonio of Deportivo Riestra became the youngest player to debut in Argentine football at 14 years old and 29 days.
The 2010 category kid entered the pitch in the 85th minute in Riestra’s 0-1 loss vs. Newell’s at the round of 16 of the Argentina Cup on Thursday and surpassed Sergio Aguero’s record. Kun’s debut with Independiente in 2003, at 15 years and 33 days old, had been the record for over two decades.
