The day after lifting the FA Cup, Garnacho’s bicycle-kick goal for Manchester United in their 3-0 win vs. Everton was voted as the best goal by the fans. Alexis Mac Allister’s goal for Liverpool in their 4-3 win vs. Fulham was one of the ten nominees.
Since this award became official in the 2016/2017 season, Argentina is now the country with the most winners (two). In 2021, Erik Lamela won the Premier League Goal of the Season with a stunning rabona for Tottenham in their 1-0 win vs. Arsenal.
