Emiliano Martínez speaks on Argentina team: “I want to be at the Olympics”

Emiliano Martínez spoke about the Argentina team and how he would like to be at the Olympics.

Martínez has commented about how he would like to be at the Olympics with Argentina. Speaking in an interview with TyC Sports, here is what Martínez had to say:

“I want to be at the Olympics. It’s not up to me, Aston Villa blocked me several times. It’s not completely closed yet but I have to fight a little more with the club. I always put the national team first.”

He also spoke about Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni:

“He takes great care of us but he doesn’t gift us anything. He told us that the number 10 (Lionel Messi) is the only one that has a guaranteed spot. People who relax, don’t come.”

The Argentina goalkeeper is presently with the Argentina national team, training in Miami.
