Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni spoke about Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez.
Lionel Scaloni spoke at a press conference on Saturday about the two strikers but did not mention which of them will start for Argentina against Ecuador on Sunday. Here is what Scaloni had to say:
“The important thing is that both of them (Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez) are fine and we are very happy. They can give us, based on each match, what we are looking for.”
Scaloni had also mentioned that Lionel Messi will play against Ecuador and the belief is that if Messi does not start, both Julián Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez will start for Argentina against Ecuador.
