Kevin Zenón, Lucas Beltrán and Pablo Solari score for Argentina Olympic team in 4-0 win vs. Paraguay

Kevin Zenón and Pablo Solari each scored once and Lucas Beltrán scored twice for the Argentina Olympic team in their 4-0 win vs. Paragay.

The Argentina Olympic team played their first of two matches against Paraguay in what was a one sided contest. It was an early goal by Kevin Zenón which got the game going.

Zenón would receive the ball well outside of the penalty area and his left footed effort would go into the top corner of the goal to give Argentina the 1-0 lead.

Lucas Beltrán would score his first of two goals, he would pass the ball to Esquivel and continue his run into the penalty area, Esquivel would pass it into the area and Beltrán would score from close range to give Argentina the 2-0 lead. Beltrán would score his second just minutes later.

Media with a pass from midfield to Solari and he would pass it across the penalty area for Beltrán to score his second goal of the match.

In the second half, it was Solari who got the goal with a cross from deep and it felt to the Argentina who controlled it and with his left foot, curled it into the bottom corner of the goal.

  1. Zenon’s goal was classic. Feeling happy for Beltran. I hope Mascherano instills in the team the pride of Olympics. It is not as significant in the footballing world as the World Cup. But it is THE OLYMPICS. In the sporting world there is no bigger medal than Olympics.
