Gio Lo Celso scored twice for Real Betis in their 2-1 win vs. Getafe.
Lo Celso had both goals for Real Betis in their win. With the score at 0-0, Real Betis were awarded a penalty kick and up stepped Lo Celso.
The Argentine scored, going to the goalkeeper’s left and the goalkeeper diving the wrong way, to give Real Betis the 1-0 lead. The first was a penalty but the second was not a set piece.
Receiving the ball outside of the penalty area, Lo Celso would strike it first time and score to make it 2-0 for Betis. He now has two goals in two matches.
What a player. So happy he finally gets the minutes he deserves at the club level.
Real Betis is the place where we’ve seen the best club version of Lo Celso before, other than his youth years at Rosario Central of course.
