  1. There’s a lot of worry on here about Scaloni integrating youth into the team. But he has shown that when a young player needs to be added, he will do it. He did it with MacAllister even though almost all Argentina fans were hating on him. And he did it with Enzo and Julian Alvarez for the World Cup. He integrates young or old players when needed. He has won us 3 trophies in a row. We should trust him 100%.

  2. Nico Paz is a great talent and has loads of potential. I like that he was called up and will get to train with the team. But if Mac Allister and Lo Celso are healthy they will play, Nico Paz can get some minutes if we are comfortably winning. Integration needs to be gradual and step by step, especially in midfield positions where we already have significant depth. Countries that give their under 21 players a lot of minutes usually do so because they don’t have better players in those positions, i.e. Nico Williams, Lamine Yamal for Spain, Wirtz and Musiala for Germany. That is not the case for Argentina.

  3. NEED GAME TIME
ONLY CALLED UP NO LONGER EXCITES ME
SCALONI HAS A HABIT OF CALLED UP PLAYERS BUT NOT GIVEN ANY MINUTES
    JUST REMEMBERED SEPTEMBER QUALIFIERS
THEN MANY PLAYERS WERE INJURED BUT HE STILL PICKED MARCUS ACUNA, CONTINUOUSLY GIVING UNDERSERVE GAME TIME TO NICOLAS GONZALEZ

    • What do you mean nicolas gonzalez got undeserved game time?
He was one of our best players if not the best in the copa final.
Yes, performances of players for their respective club matter however performances of players in national team colours matter the most.
I don’t think so valentin barco is ready for the national team as of now so choosing marcus acuna was the right decision in my opinion.

      • You have to risk for your future…Argentina is the world champions. Top of the qualifiers. Played against a totally off form Chilean side. Only few players is ready from debut but gradually giving chances to them against weak opponents not only give confidence to them but it is also good for any football team. It was perfect opportunity to give valentin barco some playing time.
As for Nicolas Gonzalez it’s better not to talk about him, the no of chances he was given it is exceptional given in form players like garnacho & Soule ignore time and again.
You should first calculate how many chances Nicolas Gonzalez getting in argentine national team and compare that with his performance.
Good performance in one or two is not enough for argentine national team. Everybody deserves their chances…

        • Scaloni is training them with the full squad and when he feels they are playing the way he wants with the team, he will integrate them. So as long as Scaloni is calling them for training its good. Its upto Scaloni to decide when they play because we are not the coach. He is. So please be patient. We cannot see whats happening in training. BTW Nico G is a very important player in the team. Especially the way Scaloni plays the team. He is getting chances because he is fulfilling the duty Scaloni want in the collective team. He changed the game in the Final of Copa America.

  4. What’s the point of calling up all these players and not giving them game time? Balerdi, Barco, Soule, Equi Fernandez have all been called up but didn’t see game time or only played maybe like 5- 10 mins. Other countries like Germany and France are trusting their youth but Scaloni is way too cautious.

  5. Excited to see new faces in the team. But would Scaloni give them enough game time. The bigger question is can the likes of Nico Paz play the game Scaloni demands. But we urgently need a Di Maria replacement. IMHO Dybala is not the one. We also need solid backups of Cuti, Licha and fullbacks.
