Marcos Senesi is expected to be called up to the Argentina national team for the November World Cup qualifiers, according to journalist Fernando Czyz of Doble Amarilla.

The Bournemouth defender is set to return to the national team. His debut and only appearance so far was in June 2022, during Argentina’s 5-0 victory over Estonia, where he played 22 minutes.

The 27-year-old Argentine, of Italian descent, was called up by Italy’s national team in 2022 but chose to represent the Albiceleste. He has recently been putting in solid performances in the Premier League.

In the last double matchday in October, against Venezuela and Bolivia, Lionel Scaloni called up the following center-backs: Cristian Romero, Nicolás Otamendi, Lisandro Martínez, Germán Pezzella, and Leonardo Balerdi.

    • Absolutely. A team of oldies Colombian & Uruguayans. Echiverri & mastantuno gets zero minutes. & how can Armani start over ledesma.

  1. Brazilian clubs are so dominant copa Libertadores, Atlético Mineiro are leading 3-0 against My favourite club in Argentina river plate, can’t believe scaloni still call likes pezzella and acuna for the nt

    • The result had expected…when Gallardo came again in the club he called to Pezzela, Acuna, Meza, and even he did not give any chance to ledesma against Armani. I have no doubt about his tactics but his player choosing system is not up to the mark.
