  1. Giuliano Simeone is Scaloni type of player. He has pace, strength and pressures like Alavrez. I would prefer he prioritizes someone like him who is a team player over Garnacho who is just a huge liability infront of goal. Yesterday, he had made few bad decisions until he was able to place his 4th chance of the match into the net.

Additionally, City is feeling the absence of Julian Alavrez. His sublime positioning, pressing and high IQ, not only created room for Foden & Haaland, he had also filled in for Debrune and was still ignored in almost all big games. He is doing quite well at Atletico with the kind of service he is getting.

    • Alvarez was the reason city survived nearly all the games played in the first 10+ games of the last year. They really are mssing him, though the club was applauded as the winner of the bargain when he left them serching for appreciation and meaningful playing minutes.

      • Yes City will suffer even more as purely rekying on Haaland is, maybe the biggest misstake Pep ever has done or at least one of the biggest i would say for sure….

If they would instaed made Julian their major man, well i’m sure they would had been getting better results, alltough Haaland has scored so many goals in his career and will keep scoring, but still in overall play Julian is miles ahead and way more versatile and i really hope he can get a chance win something more in his career, though not sure if it will be with ATM, but hopefully so as until Teal and Barca start signing Argentine players they stick it up in their where so ever etc..,

  2. Messi gets a long break. I am not sure if that makes me happy for the NT. He deserved to win another cup. Tata’s decision to keep some of the defenders after 65th was puzzling. The third goal was consumed in an unprofessional way by a very tired looking defence.
