Lisandro Martínez will miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifying matches.

Martínez will miss the two matches against Paraguay and Peru. According to Gastón Edul, the 26 year old will miss the two games due to a knock he suffered while with Manchester United.

Nicolás González is also out for Argentina due to injury, as is Germán Pezzella for the two matches. Facundo Medina has been called up for the two World Cup qualifying games.

The Argentina national team will play Paraguay on Thursday and Peru on Tuesday. Here are the players that have been called-up:

Is Balerdi left footed or is he playing in Marseille as RCB and can he play also as LCB or if right footed and more of an RCB will Scaloni, then be playing Ota for 180 min’s plus, though Medina can play as LCB or LB if I’m not mistaken…? And Tagli too, but I can’t really see Scaloni playing with back 3 as there are not, that many who can play as wingback’s and only Tagli and Molina come to my mind…

    Puzzeled about why not Senesi too and also replacement for Nico too…?
