  1. everything was wonderful last night and i enjoy the team and the game. No complain about anything …..Except 1 only thing.
    I wonder who have this idiotic idea to change the logo in our jersey and put off the 3 stars too ? AWFUL just AWFUL !!! we give our blood to earn those fu…ing stars all these years for let some idiots to put them off.
    marketing my ass …… idiots.

  2. Our starting lineup needs to incorporate LoCelso. We have a disconnect in midfield and lack creative movement and passes as of late.
    DePaul almost made three large mistakes. He needs to put his emotions to the side and get back to discipline. Maccalister is slowly getting back into the groove- I don’t doubt his future. Enzo can be off at times but seemed better last night. If we are going to have three strikers including Messi up front then LoCelso needs to be in, and we need to cover his side defensively. I liked Perez as well. Balerdi looks good too.

    • Thats why RDP plays behind Messi who covers bigger spaces than Lo Celso, and all the respects to Lo Celso Scaloni wont rely on an always injured midfielder in starting 11 anymore bar building the midfield around him, not reliable.

  3. 25 points and +14 goals and sitting comfortably on top of the qualifiers. The qualifiers are hard and long with lots of ups downs and injuries. This particular stretch has been very interesting because the usual doormats of S. America have picked up their game with leaps and bounds!

  4. Lo celso create more football in 10 minutes than De Paul and MacAllister in 80.

    Im sorry but the team need players who can create, connect with Messi and make difference alone. ! Mac Allister and DePaul are fighters but they are not at their best level this season and 80% of their pass are for their own defenders, 0 key pass ! We can feel the team start to be less and less dominante because nobody can support Messi like Di Maria did so you have 10 players who cant dribble + Leo 38y old. He cant do everything alone anymore ! Putt Lo Celso and Paz on the field and give to Messi some players who feel the same football than him.

    The worst thing for Argentina will be to not accept the football move fast and they can(t reproduce the same result without regenerate the group with new players who are super motivate ! History of football prove it :

    France 98 won -> Trash in 2002
    Brasil 2002 won -> Disapointing in 2006
    Italy 2006 won -> Trash in 2010
    Spain 2010 won -> Trash in 2014
    Germany 2014 won -> Trash in 2018

    France 2018 is the only expection. Scaloni need to be smart ! If De Paul, MacAllister, Otamendi, Paredes or Molina dont fit well anymore, there are a new generation behind ready to shine ! Dont make your team only because of the past !

  5. Between Lautaro and Julian, I feel like Julian is a better overall player, with equally good playing as either a pure 9 or an attacking forward, add to that very high futballing IQ, which is why he constantly gets rotated in multiple positions! He has already scored 7 and made 1 assist playing for a team struggling to create any chances whatsoever! However, Lautaro has been unstoppable with his ultra clinical finishing since last season! He has entered his peak as a striker! Right now there no one better than elToro in this team to lead the attack!

    • Julian has very limited skill beyond pressing. Can’t dribble. Can’t go past defenders. Can’t make curling long shots. Can’t make break through passes. His creative output is close to zero.

      Lautaro on the other hand at least has great off the ball positioning, a glorious first touch, mastery at layoffs, holding off defenders and link-up play. Lautaro is arguably the greatest “second striker” in the world right now. He is physically stronger. Better in the air. And despite missing some chances, still a prolific goal-scorer. He is at a different level from Julian.

        ?????.
        With all due respect mate but what Julian have you been watching?
        Alvarez, in addition to his finishing and pressing, also has excellent vision and passing! Hence why Pep used him as a ’10’ so often and he ended up recording assists in the double digits before leaving City.
        As for not having ‘those curling shots’…well I advice you to go back and watch some of last year’s City games where Julian scored some awesome free kicks including a ‘curler’ in the CL.

  6. Lackluster performance from us once again. Inaccurate. Full of imperfections. Very little true chances created against a mediocre team. Whatever created were missed. Finally a Messi moment and a Lautaro magic did it for us. Balerdi is settling in but still nervy. Otamendi covered him well. Montiel and Tagliafico both ineffective in wing play. When Alvarez got stuck, Nico Paz could have been given some chance. His creativity could have broken the wall created by Peru inside the box. Messi was full of miss passes bd bottled well. De Paul was worst on the pitch like the last match. We have lot to rectify if we want a point against Uruguay and Brazil in March. Heard that Scaloni is trying to avoid missing Spain because of congested calendar. So is it for Spain too. Scaloni knows by June he won’t be ready with the new team.

    • Stop crying man Argentina are world champion two times copa champion playing good football at times champagne football yes we have lost few games here and there lately but guess I don’t care if we lose all our matches till next world cup I firmly believe we will be one of the hot favourites to win world cup 2026. The one thing I against scaloni is keep playing old players like pezzella, otamendi, acuna and not giving enough chances likes senesi, paz , almada, solar and G. Simeone and I’m sure that will change from March onwards next year chill out and be grateful man

      • Not crying bro. Just doing a reality check against what De Paul said in an interview a month ago – we want to be the greatest national football team and even better than 1970s Brazil. I am also looking forward to what new plans Scaloni brings in for 2025. I am worried that the year would begin with two toughest opponents in March.

  7. Most goal in one calendar year

    Messi = 18 goals (2022)
    Messi & Batigol = 12 goals (2022 & 1998)
    Lautaro = 11 goals (2024)
    Aguero = 10 goals (2015)

    Correction, Maradona has 34 goals not 32, so Lautaro still behind him for now.

  8. Gerardo “Tata” Martino has left his post as head coach of Inter Miami CF, sources tell ESPN, leaving the club for personal reasons despite having a year remaining on his contract.

    who do you prefer to be the new coach?

  9. Based on current results, it’s evident south American world cup qualifiers are the the toughest. Colombia lost at home, Brazil currently drawing Uruguay, Argentina struggling to beat Peru.
    For those European fanboys/Cr7 fans who rubbish Conmebol qualifiers, they should know south American football is about passion.

    • That has always been the case, the longest and hardest of all qualifiers, while in Europe it’s all about the big countries in groups by themselves with the occasion of having 2 in one group.
      Please don’t get me started on CRYnaldo and all HER blind fans who hail from planet stupid and social media.

    • Yes absolutely SA WCQ’s or COPA been allways the toughest and Ecuador played well in the beginning and deserved that lead, but got a red card and Colombia looked scoring before the first half ended, but could not, though were close as for second half have no clue, because switched obviously to ARG’s game.

      Also Venezuela was leading away against Chile 1-2, but managed at least let Chile score 4 more goals, though don’t the exact result, but at some point it was 5-2 for Chile.

    • Yes, though Pérez could had been given a bit more of playing time and Balerdi played a good game as expected, but no need to subbing him off as again all of the subs came very late and not really understand why was not Lo Celso brought on earlier to replace De Paul as there was hardly any threat at all from Peru due with all respect to them.

      This game would had been perfect for also Almada and Paz.

      Enzo again clearly best of the mids and Lo Celso looked good too, though his playing time was very limited.

      Somehow MAC was kept on, though he may not have had the best of his game’s just kind of ok, but could had been rained with Almada or Paz for example….

      Subbing Paredes in for just to exivite La Bombonera with hardly any playing time left was a bit weard as I would had understood if he would had given a proper time….

      Well, win is a win allways, though nothing flashy and Peru not creating really any threat at at all…

      Happy with the result, but still not really impressed with such a late subs, though Pérez , Giuliano and Mefina were subbed in, but with such a little playing time is not really any progress as only progress for the future was with Balerdi and why was he not aloud to play the whole entire 90 min + …?

      I wished for the subs to arrive soon as Toro scored from MESSI’s pass, but they did not come or came way too late..?

      Anyhow as said happy with result and the best players on the pitch for me were, well it is difficult to put them in order, but maybe I would put TORO first, because it was his goal, which brought the 3 points and also the way he took it was absolutely brilliant!

      Then, I would put Enzo, who clearly best of mid’s again and maybe Messi, who gave a great pass to TORO’s goal and tried to connect, but also for him it was not his best days, but still was able to get involve kind of decisively.

      Montiel was also very active, so I quess I will put him in my top 5 for this game, where I would Balerdi too for sure!

      Maybe if Lo Celso would had been given more time, well even he did not he get’s close to my top 5 for this game.

      Tagliafico and Julian after the name’s above and I’m not mentioning DIBU, because he had basic,y nothing to do.

      De Paul had one good cross from free kick to TORO, but besides, that nothing special.

      Otamendi had also not much to do some clearances here and there and did not played badly, but was not really tested, because clearly Perú are maybe right now not on the level they used some years back and they just wanted a draw.

      Pérez and Giuliano, Medina or who ever was subbed in should had been given more time o play in a game like this, where Peru was not threatening at all.

      Can’t wait for March next year as it allready now feel’s too long of time for waiting to see ALBICELESTE in action again!
