I agree that he’s abit rough around the edges but with his work rate and tenacity I can see him becoming a De paul ‘engine’ type player and those kind of players are always good to have around.
Ok so if Julian Lautaro Messi trio dont work we could play with a hard working but not that talented winger Simeone or Nico Gonzalez instead of Julian/Lautaro or maybe Garnacho (work rate and defensive skills are not that good) with serious improvement till the WC (finishing, decision making, 1 on 1) who gives more attacking threat. Or 4-3-1-2 with a 10 Nico Paz/Lo Celso/Almada/Echeverri or who will improve the most and Messi upfront with a striker but for this formation LB/RB should be very attacking minded (Molina, Soler/Barco?) cause they give the width.
Again MOTM. Three in a row.
As long as Giuliano Simeone remains injury free, he will Be a big asset for Scaloni’s team. His workrate is what I like

I wonder if he can be converted to a proper wingback and eventually RB, like Molina. Many wingers or wide players evolved into fullbacks, Giuliano’s work rate is certainly an indicator.
every atletico players are center back
Garnacho is talented but most of the time he looks like a passenger, lacking commitment to engage
