CONMEBOL has officially announced that the 2030 FIFA World Cup will begin with matches in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will serve as one of the three opening venues, alongside Uruguay’s Centenario Stadium and Paraguay’s Osvaldo Dom铆nguez Dibb Stadium.
After these matches, the tournament will continue in Europe and Africa. Most of the games will take place in Spain, with additional matches in Portugal and Morocco.
In a separate announcement, FIFA confirmed that the 2034 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. The last time a World Cup was played in Asia was in 2022, when Argentina won the title.
The 2030 World Cup marks the centennial celebration of the first tournament, which was held in Uruguay in 1930.
This is such a great news for all Argentina fans.
On the contrary this coming world cup is even harder than the previous ones because now there is a round of 32 then 16 then 8 then 4 and then the final. Inorder to win this worldcup you have to play 8 matches instead of the regular 7, which has been the case since 1974.
ARG won the LAST proper world cup, a watered-down WCs from now on, sadly!
