Nicolás Otamendi has reached 25 career titles, the most all time for an Argentina defender.

Otamendi lifted the Portuguese League Cup with Benfica, making it three trophies with them and 25 career titles. The 36 year old won his first title in 2009, the Clausura with Vélez. He would go on to win eight titles with FC Porto, one of which was the Europa League before joining Manchester City where he would win nine titles.

With the Argentina national team, Otamendi won the World Cup, two Copa America titles and the Finalissima. The Argentine is sixth in the all time’s list of trophies won by Argentina players. Otamendi is behind Lucho González and Franco Armani, who both have 27 trophies, Carlos Tevez who has 29 trophies, Ángel Di María on 36 trophies and Lionel Messi on 47 trophies.
