Carlos Alcaraz scores, assists for Everton in 2-1 win vs. Crystal Palace

Carlos Alcaraz scored and assisted for Everton in their 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.

Alcaraz got his first goal and his first assisted for his new club. The 22 year old joined Everton on loan from Flamengo in January and has a goal and an assist.

With the score at 0-0, Alcaraz played it in to Beto who scored to give Everton the 1-0 lead. Crystal Palace would draw level and it would be Alcaraz who would make the difference.

The ball fell to the Argentine inside the penalty area and he would score from close range to give Everton the 2-1 lead and win.

  1. ‘Charlie’ Alcaraz is such an interesting case, he’s clearly talented with a good passing range, an eye for goal and is a hard worker to boot but for some reason just doesn’t seem to settle anywhere, whether be it at Southampton, Juve or Flamingo. Must be an attitude issue because the kid’s got talent.

  2. I wonder what centre back pairing will play against Uruguay and Brazil in next month’s world Cup qualifier, Definitely 37 years resilient otamendi will be starting
Will cuti Romero be a match fit to play or it will be leo balerdi who will play a long side with 37 years old otamendi, What i don’t like is to see pezzella and otamendi playing together that will make Argentina nt look like a ageing ugly side btw n. Perez has been good and foyth has been playing as right side centre back for his club lately.

    • Most likely Balerdi, that is if Cuti is not back by then. I personally would love to see the Perez-Medina pairing just like in the u20 back in 2019. While the team wasn’t spectacular that CB pairing was excellent and they complement each other really well. I would also like to see Alexandro Bernabei tried in the LB position because apparently he was incredible in Brazil last season.
