Alexandro Bernabei scored for Internacional in their 3-3 draw against Nacional in the Copa Libertadores.
Bernabei got his first goal in the Copa Libertadores for Internacional, scoring in their draw. With Nacional leading 3-1, it was a cross into the penalty area which found Bernabei and the Argentine left back would control it and score Internacional’s second goal of the match.
The 24 year old was named as last season’s best left back in the Brazilian league.

It’s odd that he is not being considered. Surely he can’t be worse that makeshift Medina or Ortega. Soler and Barco might be too young, but Bernabei is 24. He’s a very attacking left-back, some say his playing style resembles Jordi Alba…And it might seem counterintuitive to some, but Brazilian league is actually better that the Scottish leagues where Bernabei played at Celtic…
@Csabalala what do you think Bernabei lacks? What are we missing?
His height could be a problem for Scaloni, only 169.
Yeah, maybe the height, but is that a problem for a fullback?
Scaloni’s reluctance when it comes to Barnebei is odd, similar to his attitude when it comes to Varela. Tagliafico is still playing well but he’s unlikely to be around after 2026 while Soler isn’t playing at all, Barco is playing in positions other than LB and Medina isn’t a LB and didn’t do great when he played there for Argentina.
Varela omission issue is very annoying. I don’t get it
