Nicolás González to miss Argentina match vs. Chile due to suspension

Nicolás González is set to miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifying match against Chile due to suspension.

González received a red card for Argentina in their World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay and missed the next match against Brazil. According to Leandro Alves, Nicolás González is suspended for two matches and will miss the match against Chile.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will also be without Leandro Paredes, Enzo Fernández and Nicolás Otamendi for the match as they are also suspended.

  1. It was an unfortunate incident which resulted in Nico being out for 2 matches. He deserves to play in the next world cup. Hope he remains fit and fine.
