Flamengo are in advanced negotiations to sign Taty Castellanos from Lazio.

Taty Castellanos could be leaving Serie A. According to Venê Casagrande, the Brazilian club are in talks to sign the Argentine.

The 26 year old forward has been with Lazio since 2023, signing with them from New York City FC. Castellanos scored 10 goals in 29 Serie A matches last season.

  1. Although Brazilian clubs had a respectable showing during Club Word Cup and their league is arguably better than some smaller European leagues (Scottish, Russian, Swiss, Belgian, Greek, etc), I can’t help but feel like going from Lazio to Flamengo is a downgrade for Taty.
