Lautaro Martínez had a goal and an assist for Inter in their 5-0 win against Torino.
Martínez started the match for Inter, having a goal and an assist in their win. With Inter leading 2-0, the ball was with the Torino goalkeeper but it was the Argentine who pressured him, intercepting the ball and scoring to give Inter the 3-0 lead.
With Inter leading 4-0, they would once more intercept the ball and it would fall to Lautaro who would pass it to Ange-Yoan Bonny and he would score.

Other than Emanuel petit, i don’t remember any world class deep lying midfielder excelling as left footed? As attacking mid, wing, forwards it is a big yes but as midfielders, atleast i am afraid to mention only petit if my memory serves me well (i am not even sure whether he was fully deep lying playmaker). Do they have technical limitations to make direct attacking pass, or anchoring from the field? or rather is it more convinient for right footed midfielders? IDK.
Let’s see what equi can offer. I seriously doubt, though just from the pattern.
Have you forgotten one Fernando Redondo? or going back a bit further, Gerson?
Thanks. I totally forgotten him. Still the ratio to right footed Mids seems very low. Hope Equi would be one of the few exceptions.
Equi Fernández to Bayer Leverkusen can happen soon after €30m (no add-ons) plus 15% sell-on clause bid.
Al Qadsiah paid $20m for Equi one year ago and selling him to European club with profit made would be new chapter of the Saudi project, sign develop sell and reinvest. @Fabrizio Romano
He must have really impressed in Saudi league otherwise a European team paying €10 million more than what Saudi paid is not something that has happened ever if I am not mistaken!
Put this way once he complete his move to Leverkusen, he will be a starter for the nt that is how good he is.
Yeah I’m right with you there, he must’ve really, REALLY impressed! Although Laporte, Kante and few others went to Saudi and it didn’t seem to affect their level of play so maybe going to Saudi isn’t the death blow that most of us think it is.
As I said before I have’t seen Equi play in Argentina but he was impressive in the Olympics and maybe that’s what Leverkusen is seeing.

Equi Fernandez to Bayer Leverkusen is all but confirmed.
