With São Paulo leading 2-1, José Manuel López received the ball from outside of the penalty area and he scored his third goal in two matches, to draw Palmeiras level.
With the score at 2-2, Aníbal Moreno crossed the ball into the penalty area and Ramón Sosa scored to give Palmeiras the 3-2 lead.
