Nicolás Otamendi is suspended for Argentina’s first katch at the World Cup.

Otamendi was red carded for Argentina in their 1-0 loss against Ecuador in the World Cup qualifiers. With the Argentina national team not playing any more World Cup qualifying matches, it has been confirmed that Otamendi is suspended for Argentina’s first match at the tournament.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will not be able to play Otamendi in the first match.
