Javier Saviola speaks on Franco Mastantuono joining Real Madrid

Javier Saviola spoke about Franco Mastantuono joining Real Madrid.

Saviola made the jump over to Europe from River Plate to FC Barcelona. At Barcelona, he would play at AS Monaco and Sevilla before joining Real Madrid.

The Argentine spent two years at the club before joining Benfica. Speaking in an interview with El Grafico, Saviola commented on Mastantuono joining Real Madrid from River Plate. Here is what he had to say:

“I see myself reflected in him.

“We have had similar experiences. He is very young, but I spoke with him and he is surrounded by good people. He has impressive maturity for his age. He speaks and thinks like a more experienced player. That is fundamental.”
