Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has sent a message to the Argentina U20 national team after their losing in the U20 World Cup final.
Lionel Scaloni won the 1997 U20 World Cup with the Argentina U20 national team and was team mates with current Argentina U20 national team manager Diego Placente. Scaloni posted a message on his Instagram page, supporting the team after losing 2-0 against Morocco in the final of the U20 World Cup. Here is what he had to say:
“We have the players, the desire, the passion, the motivation, the attitude, and the fighting spirit…
“Argentina and the coaching staff of the senior national team are very proud of you.
“Thank you to the entire delegation, to Bernardo Romeo, Diego Placente and his coaching staff, to the staff and especially to the players for everything you did at this World Cup. Go Argentina!”
