Paulo Dybala played a key role in Roma’s 2-0 away win over Torino on Sunday, scoring one goal and providing an assist in Matchday 21 of the 2025–26 Serie A. The result moved Roma into the UEFA Champions League qualification places.
The match was played at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, where Paulo Dybala was involved in the opening goal after 25 minutes. The Argentine received the ball near the edge of the box, carried it inside, and slipped a pass through to Donyell Malen, who finished past goalkeeper Alberto Paleari to give Roma the lead.
Roma controlled much of the game and limited Torino’s attacking options. In the second half, another Argentine came onto the pitch, as Matías Soulé was introduced after 52 minutes to add fresh legs in attack.
With 20 minutes remaining, Roma doubled their advantage. Dybala took a shot from outside the area that was saved by Paleari, but the rebound stayed in play. Devyne Rensch sent a low cross into the box, where Dybala finished from close range to make it 2-0.
Dybala now has three goals and three assists this season, having alternated between starting roles and substitute appearances. With his contract set to expire at the end of June, speculation about his future, including links to a possible return to Argentina, continues.
