Joaquín Panichelli has been called up to the Argentina national team for March.
Panichelli is included in the team for the match on March 27 against Mauritania. The 23 year old was not part of the team which was announced by Lionel Scaloni but Panichelli, along with Franco Mastantuono, have both been called up to the team.

Argentina vs Mauritania/Zambia….What a disgrace of a match before WC…..I mean even playing the u20 team would have been way better
No Alejandro Garnacho but sure, let’s call up Mastantuono. What has this guy done at Real Madrid? The Alejandro Garnacho hate in this Argentina national team is just mind boggling. All because the guy is a fan of CR7. Moreover, the guy has been decent in his last few games for Chelsea, a player who is only 21 years old with over 100 appearances in the EPL is not worth a call up? Someone who scored in the finals against City and recently scored in the semifinal against Arsenal is not worth a call up? Garnacho chose Argentina over Spain and this is the treatment from Scaloni and his people. This is not good and just showing poor bias towards Garnacho..Imagine training hard, working hard for your club team only to have your confidence gutted by the man who asked you to choose Argentina over Spain. This Scaloni era will eventually come to an end. It doesn’t seem like this team is interested in winning the 2026 World Cup.
And oh, let’s reward Prestianni after his poor sportsmanship in the UCL.
Kidulthood, I don’t think anyone cares if he is a CR7 fan, it’s a sporting decision, he was called a few times before, Scaloni and co saw him in action and evidently were not impressed. Our hope of winning the WC do not hinge on Garnacho. We have some young blood: Barco, Paz, Perrone, Simeone, Almada, Panichelli, Lopez.
Prestianni was called because he’s been playing well at Benfica, as simple as that. Shall we remind you that you already supposedly switched allegiances to Colombia? Why are you whining here again?
Great call up..we dont need to many old player in world cup.. we need energatic player who running continue in 90 minutes..too many fighter player can win the game
