Emiliano Martínez is set to miss Argentina’s friendly matches before the World Cup.

Martínez suffered a dislocated finger during Aston Villa’s warm-up in their Europa League final win. The Argentine played the match with a dislocated finger. According to TN Deportivo, his recovery would be about 20 days.

The 33 year old is expected to be with the Argentina national team but miss both of their friendly matches before the World Cup. The first on June 6 against Honduras at Kyle Field in Texas and the second on June 9 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama.
