Nico Paz is still recovering from his injury but it is a concern for Lionel Scaloni and his team. According to Gastón Edul, the coaching staff is paying close attention to Paz and he remains under constant observation in training.

I do really hope, that he recovers in time!
Yes, he is one of the most important profiles we have for the future. Feels like a genuine next big thing for Argentina, and this would have been the perfect stage for him to showcase himself even more. Really hoping the health concerns are nothing serious and that he recovers well.
Some may see this as a good opportunity for Buendía, but personally I would still first try everything possible to get Paz into the squad if he is fit enough.
