Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni haa two formations in mind for the match against Algeria.
Lionel Scaloni will be without Nicolás Tagliafico who will miss the Argentina national team’s match against Algeria at the World Cup. According to Diego Monroig, Acaloni has two formations in mind.
The first is with a four man backline with Facundo Medina, Nicolás Otamendi, Cristian Romero and Gonzalo Montiel with Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister and Rodrigo De Paul in midfield. The second is with a three man backline with Lisandro Martínez, Nicolás Otamendi and Cristian Romero with Nicolás González, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister, Rodrigo De Paul and Giuliano Simeone in midfield.

My preference would be 4 backline because Algeria is known for strong wing-play. We have to nullify that. Though I doubt the ability of Facundo Medina. He was spectator to Iceland missing three chances without trying to aggressively trying to prevent those chances from becoming dangers. Molina is good but inconsistent. Still he is the best bet under the current scenario. Simeone would be a wrong choice against tall and physical Algerians. But irrespective of the starting line-up, the key to success lies in on-field adaptation. If Algeria starts with a high-defense line strategy, we have to do much better this time compared to what we did against Saudi Arabia last time.
3-4-3/5-4-1 formate is the best for argentina right now..
By the way because i have long time to be here and i see so huge change since i was here i want to say that this new version of mundo is very nice but little bit more complicate than old one. Congratulations to Roy and all those help to build this new mundo. i really like it.
The only i miss is the photo i used in my posts and it disapear. in same time i can t put one photo again. Do someone know if this option exists? If yes how i can put one ?
Not 3 in back. it never gone good for us. For all those don t have short memory.
My prediction is more of a 3-4-3 with Dibu Martínez, Lisandro Martínez, Nicolás Otamendi, Cristian Romero, Valentín Barco (Nico González), Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister, Giuliano Simeone, Julián Alvarez, Lautaro Martínez, Leo Messi.
I don’t want Montiel & Medina starting.
I feel 3-5-2 is safer than that
more likely 3-4-3 because you still need Messi behind Lautaro and Alvarez 😉
apart from medina the first one is almost same as 2022’s one.
