Marcos Senesi is set to start for Argentina against Jordan at the World Cup.
Senesi will be in the starting eleven for the Argentina national team’s match against Jordan. According to Mariano Antico, Marcos Senesi and Nicolás Otamendi will be the two center back pairings with Nicolás Tagliafico as left back and Gonzalo Montiel as right back.
Cristian Romero and Lisandro Martínez both started for Argentina in the 3-0 win against Algeria and the 2-0 win vs. Austria while Facundo Medina started both matches in place of Nicolás Tagliafico. Montiel started against Algeria but Nahuel Molina started the match against Austria.

Uruguay might be the only Conmebol team to not make it to the knockout rounds.
France is looking menacing today.
Yes, but it is Norway’s B side, they rotated heavily…
It seemed like they had picked Ivory Coast for round of 32 in advance….
Does anyone knows has Paz signed permanently with Como now ? I saw this on Sky Sports :
Nico Paz is staying at Como after they decided to pay Real Madrid £51.8m (€60m) to sign him permanently, according to Sky in Italy.
Real Madrid decided to trigger their £8.6m (€10m) buy-back clause for the 21-year-old playmaker, currently at the World Cup with Argentina, with a view to selling him this summer.
Como were hesitant about the finances involved but will pay the fee over four years.
Paz’s new contract at the Italian club will include a £69m (€80m) buy-back clause for Real Madrid, which is valid for one year.
Going back to RM..is not good for him..it will halt his progress…
I wish Mastantuono also leaving the club this season..
Yes, it is a done deal, Como sign Nico Paz, Fabrizio Romano reported it: Como agree deal to 𝐁𝐔𝐘 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐏𝐀𝐙 from Real Madrid on permanent deal, 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎!
Thanx 🙏 for confirming @EnganChe
They should start either Palacios or Barco in place of De Paul. Also, Lautaro Martínez is washed up. Completely out of sorts. He and Montiel are a waste of space. Montiel probably is the worst RB of all the 42 teams.
Argentina desperately need goals from 3 or 4 more sources.
I always liked Lautaro but i feel he is an over confident player…
Lautaro wanted to prove, the last WC failure was because of his injury…but his WC record and Champions league record are not great…!
Alvarez is way better player..his Champions league record shows that…
I wanted Alvarez back in full fitness and form..
I don’t think it is overconfidence. He is just too conscious to prove a point because his last outing did not end well. That is affecting his game. However, he improved against Austria compared to Algeria. But he needs get back his scoring boots. It cannot always be Messi.
Dude, Lautaro is not washed up, come on. He was through on goal and 2 Austrian defenders hacked him down and he won a penalty. He was running and hustling and winning the ball back. He’s far from done, he can still be useful, wait and see…
