Cristian Romero is set to start for Argentina against Cabo Verde at the World Cup.
Romero will be in the starting eleven for the Argentina national team. According to Gastón Edul, Romero will start for Argentina in their Round of 32 match against Cabo Verde.
The 28 year old missed Argentina’s 3-1 win against Jordan as he was recovering from a muscle injury.
We need to keep our nerves calm for the first 15-20 mins. We would playing against a seen opponent and an unseen opponent – our “champion” consciousness. Good to have Romero back. These are knock-out stages and we need to have a solid defence. The opponent has one of the best defence and goal keeper in the tournament. They defend like they are defending their borders.

I’m actually more concerned about the heat than the team themselves. Yes, never underestimate the opponent and yes they held Uruguay and Spain to a draw but that’s what happens when you have Ferran Torres and Darwin Nunez as your attackers, and Uruguay certainly had no trouble creating chances against Cape Verde, they just completely gave the game away.
God. Please make this a no nonsense simple win.
