Leandro Paredes started Argentina’s 3-1 win against Switzerland at the World Cup.
Paredes was initially yellow carded for a tackle during Argentina’s 3-1 win against Switzerland but the referee reversed the decision. The yellow card was reversed and instead given to Breel Embolo who was red carded. Speaking to Doble Amarilla after Argentina’s 3-1 win, here is what he had to say about the match:
“We always suffer. We are doing something incredible, another semi final. It’s a day by day enjoyment.
“We don’t give importance to the opponent, we are focused on the match, that we knew was going to be very difficult.
“I am well. I finished the match well, just tired.”
