Diego Maradona wants to sign Argentina striker Adolfo Gaich to Gimnasia y Esgrima

Diego Maradona reportedly wants to sign Argentina striker Adolfo Gaich to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.

Argentina as well as football legend Diego Maradona is currently managing Superliga side Gimnasia. Per TyC Sports, due to the injury to Lautaro Chavez, the club would be looking to bring in another striker.

San Lorenzo president Matias Lammens has reportedly been contacted by someone from Gimnasia letting him know that they would like to sign Adolfo Gaich.

The striker was one of Fernando Batista’s standout stars for the Argentina U20 team and he just made his debut for the senior team in the 4-0 win against Mexico.

  1. Maradona is crazy yes, but still the greatest. It might be a good experience for the young player to be in a situation with a weak team

  2. Gimnasia is a sinking ship and I don’t Maradona will be the one to steady it. Gaich is better off staying with San Lorenzo, who is flying on top of the league under Pizzi.

  3. Maybe Maradona can teach Gaich how to be fat and lazy.
I hope this kid stays away from him. He is poison to young players.
