Ezequiel Garay has confirmed that he has left Valencia.
The already 33 year old defender has been with the club since joining them back in 2016 from Zenit. During his stint at the club, the Argentina man lifted one trophy which was last season’s Copa del Rey.

Turning 34 in October, Garay is no doubt at the tail end of his career and no news as to whether or not he will be returning to his boyhood club Newell’s Old Back in Argentina.
Could have been an Argentine legend but injuries let him down. 🙁
more than injuries , it was some bizarre decision . Was it his or coaches or maybe the association or the friends group – we will never know. As per Garay he never left the NT. Was it coach ? May not be bcos multiple coaches ( Gerardo, Bauza, Sampoali , Scaloni ) kept him away post 2015. It seems one match he decided not to play due to some personal commitments & that flared up.
Crazy bcos Garay & Otamendi would have been a very good CB pair that cld have bought defensive stability in last 3-4 years
Valencia have always been a good club for Argentine players.
