Nicolas Gonzalez continues to test positive for COVID-19, could miss Argentina matches

Nicolas Gonzalez continues to test positive for COVID-19 and could miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifying matches.

Gonzalez tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of October but was called up to the Argentina national team. Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni included the 23 year old in the team for the matches against Uruguay and Brazil but he continues to test positive.

It remains to be seen if he will be able to participate in the two games.
